ECONOX® Kills Odour Complaints At Berisfords

 

As a result of local odour complaints, a new sulphide discharge consent was imposed on Berisfords Ribbons. Yara Industrial Ltd was requested to conduct a trial using ECONOX® liquid sodium permanganate to control sulphide levels at the effluent discharge point.

Controlled dosing of Nutriox is very effective in the treatment of wastewater with a long retention time in the sewer network. Nutriox is used for both municipal sewerage systems and industrial wastewater. Septicity prevention and odour control are the key factors for dosing Nutriox in the wastewater treatment process.
Nutriox®
  AdBlue is the reagent to be used in Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems on diesel engined heavy commercial vehicles. In combination with the SCR system AdBlue will reduce the level of emissions from these engines, specifically the harmful Nitrous Oxides (NOx).

  Liquid Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is an industrial gas used for cryogenic applications, soft drinks carbonation and pH control in alkaline effluent streams as a proven technology and beneficial alternative to mineral acid. Sub and Supercritical CO2, welding gases, industrial gases, including solid Carbon Dioxide, are also available. Dry Ice (solid Carbon Dioxide) is used for chilling, freezing and industrial cleaning. Dry Ice slices, Dry Ice blocks and Dry Ice pellets can be used in the food processing, refrigeration, catering and industrial cleaning sector. Dry Ice Blast cleaning is very effective at contaminant removal and is more cost effective than shot blasting.
