Production activity

Although drawing much product from other industrial plants around the UK, our principle production activity is based at Immingham, in North East Lincolnshire.

At Immingham, we have extensive Dry Ice manufacturing facilities, the subject of a £1m investment in 2003, and facilities for receiving, handling, dilution, storage, and despatch of various chemicals, the largest of which, Nutriox^®, is stored in a tank farm of stainless steel storage tanks.

The Dry Ice plant requires trained shift workers who are responsible for manufacturing a variety of forms of Dry Ice, pellets, slices and blocks.

The Liquid Carbon Dioxide we use to supply customers for Dry Ice manufacture is a product of Ammonia production plants in Europe and Scandinavia.  We source from production sites at Billingham, Ince and Severnside, as well as importing through a dedicated terminal facility at Purfleet.

Our SciSol and Vitamax Nutrients are produced regionally at sites in Suffolk, Shropshire, Yorkshire and Perth in Scotland.
