PlusPac

PlusPAC1000 is a new high performance grade of Polyaluminium Chloride based on trivalent Aluminium (Al³⁺) and divalent Magnesium (Mg²⁺) and Calcium (Ca²⁺) cations which offers a robust treatment for both industrial effluents and sewage wastes.

PlusPAC1000 works by neutralising the charge on suspended and colloidal matter to produce compact flocs suitable for easy removal by either settlement or flotation processes and promotes more efficient dewatering.

PlusPAC1000 is compatible with most cationic polymers but stability tests should be carried out in individual applications.

Coagulation pH will depend on the application but is usually in the range 5.8-8.0 and preferably 6.5-7.0.

Storage

Storage tanks can be constructed in either fibreglass; reinforced polyester or rubber- lined steel. Ensure that brass or mild steel fittings are avoided. Pipes & valves of PVC, fibreglass, reinforced polyester and other resistant plastic materials are satisfactory subject to temperature limitations.
